Thibaut Duverneix is an award-winning French-Canadian multimedia director at the crossroads of entertainment and technology. Thibaut specializes in creating immersive experiences using boundary-pushing technology that transform and reimagine environments, from airports and live shows to everything in between. He is currently the CEO and Executive Creative Director of the multidisciplinary creative studio, Gentilhomme.
Thibaut has received critical acclaim for bringing global multimedia productions, large-scale immersive projects, interactive shows and mesmeric destination experiences to life.
Across mediums, he has a proven track record of sparking the imagination of audiences and passersby. He has created unparalleled interactive stage set-ups and concert visuals for artists including Nine Inch Nails, Fall Out Boy, Tove Lo and Charlotte Cardin. He’s also directed music videos for Elton John, 5 Seconds of Summer and Tierra Whack, including the latter’s mini “album-movie” WHACK WORLD, which was listed among the best music videos of 2018 by Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, Billboard, New York Times, Vice, Noisey, and many others. Over the past few decades, Thibaut conceptualized, designed and directed immersive content for Cirque du Soleil’s VOLTA, The Dubai Mall Zabeel, Montreal’s Quartier des Spectacles, and many more.
Most recently, Thibaut designed and produced architecturally-scaled digital art installations within Orlando International Airport (MCO)’s brand new Terminal C, with his team at Gentilhomme. He is currently developing another airport project in the US, coming in 2023.
