About me
Sean was born and raised in Las Vegas and started his career right out of high school and has over 35 years of experience. Worked in lighting and stage management for a few small off-the-Strip shows and many events doing lighting, audio, rigging, and backline also working with headlining acts at the Golden Nugget Hotel on Fremont St. He was mentored and worked with many acts like Tony Orlando, Melissa Manchester, and Don Rickles to name a few. In 1993, when Treasure Island was built, he was an original member of the lighting department for the Mystère install. In 2007 he became HOD of Lighting, Projection and SFX where he is still currently working. Recently with original lighting designer Luc Lafortune, they completely re-designed the entire lighting system from networking to fixtures and consoles. Sean has also done design work for Cirque du Soleil for Mystère as well as the two One Night for One Drop charity events in the O Theater inside the Bellagio Hotel. He also has been lighting designer and technical director for 15 seasons of a group venture of Cirque du Soleil and Nevada Ballet Theater as well as done design work for others in live music and videos outside of Cirque.
