About me
Many years ago, I was standing in the doorway of our high school auditorium, watching a group of kids in black shirts climb ladders and cut pieces of colored plastic. One of them asked, “you gonna help us or what?” I walked in, learned how to cut a gel and hang a leko, and never left.
Since then, I have had the pleasure of working in theatres, arenas, convention centers, canyons, museums, and anywhere that could house a show. I have designed and/or managed a wide variety of productions and worked with widely talented designers, TDs, engineers and stagehands, constantly learning and growing my skill sets.
I spent 20 years as a theatrical lighting and set Designer, and then started working in ballrooms and expo halls. I learned a lot about the industry working with AV shops, PR agencies, gear manufacturers and venue operators. Eventually I moved to management and sales, where all of my experience can be put to use servicing the client’s vision.
I am blessed to have had this journey and am excited about the opportunity to share what I have learned.
