About me
Nik Peacock, an entertainment industry trainer for Vectorworks, has been an avid software user for over 15 years. Nik began his lighting and scenic design career for theatre, opera, and dance before moving into production management. During his tenure at the complex, he coordinated production needs for events in the convention center and performing arts center, ranging everywhere from touring Broadway productions to sporting events and even fundraising galas. Inspired by his love of teaching others, Nik then moved into university technical direction roles, where he mentored students in lighting and scenic production and taught lighting design and stagecraft. Nik also spent time with an international production company creating CAD drawings and renderings for their audio, video, and lighting installations and live corporate events. Self-proclaimed "Vectorworks nerd," Nik also enjoys using the software outside of work for home improvement projects, video game mods, and more. When not in Vectorworks, Nik spends time with his wife and two children or playing video/board games.
