About me
Matt is a Boston native and a NYC based lighting/production designer. A graduate of Boston University with a BFA in lighting design, he has industry experience spanning over twenty years and includes lighting/production design, direction, and programming for concert touring, theater, dance, live/corporate events, cruise ships, architainment, and fashion shows. Recording artist design and direction credits include NEEDTOBREATHE, The Cult, Alice In Chains, MisterWives, Evanescence, Tesla, Neon Trees, JoJo, Jon Bellion, Bush, Young the Giant, Nick Jonas and CeeLo Green. In addition to many regional theatrical design credits, his work has been seen at New York Fashion Week, Red Carpet premieres, CES, the LA Auto Show, and select Royal Caribbean & Celebrity Cruise ships.
Matt is an eight time recipient of the New Hampshire Theatre Award for Best Professional Lighting Design, a PLSN 2020 Parnelli NextGen finalist, and a 2020 Live Design Achievement Award finalist. In addition to design services, Matt is an ETC/High End Systems certified Hog console trainer, a Hog 4 software Beta Tester. Matt is a proud member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.
