About me
JD Bouck serves as director of production for AREA15, the world’s first purpose-built immersive entertainment district located minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. Offering live events, immersive activations, monumental art installations, extraordinary design elements, unique retail, ground-breaking technology, bars and eateries and much more, AREA15 continues to grow in Las Vegas and across the globe. Voted #1 Attraction in the U.S. in 2022, AREA15 has welcomed over 6 million visitors since opening in September 2020 and will soon expand across 20-acres to its north.
In his role at AREA15, Bouck oversees the production, sound, lighting and projection systems for all the events happening inside and outside the building. He is instrumental in using his production skills to create a unique experience for all the events and activations that AREA15 offers. AREA15 houses a variety of event spaces for public, corporate, and private events. Bouck oversees production in all event spaces, including the 360-degree, projection-mapped room The Portal; the 25,000+ sq. ft., open-air A-Lot; AREA15’s newest 3,000 sq. ft. event space, The Wall; and beyond. Bouck manages a team of 22 production and audio-visual professionals.
Bouck participates in many AREA15 community outreach programs, including First Fridays, blood drives and holiday toy drives. He taps into his creative side by overseeing the theming and fabricating for AREA15’s themed events and parties. A native of Florida, Bouck has lived in Las Vegas for 12 years. Before joining AREA15, Bouck worked for notable nightlife entertainment venues such as Marquee, Wet Republic, Tao, XS; and he played a pivotal role in the opening of The Palms (2019).
