About me
Before joining the Available Light team, Hamilton Smith made his mark across the country with an impressive range of projects, spanning opera, theatre, film, events, and immersive experiences. These days, he enthusiastically undertakes high-profile museum and architectural projects, including the award-winning Entertainment Nation exhibit at the National Museum of American History, the National Museum of the United States Army, Analog Devices’ new World Headquarters & Campus, and the newly restored Boston Athenaeum.
Hamilton holds a BFA in Theatrical Lighting Design from the University of Arizona and is an active member of the IES and IALD. Previously, he served on the board of the New England Designers Lighting Forum.
