About me
Elmer Veith has spent more than 25 years working in the entertainment industry, focusing on
rigging and structure-related projects. Having worked for several industry-leading companies,
he is currently the head of sales and training for Reliable Design Services in Dallas, Texas. Past
projects have included the development of the R3 Outdoor Stage Roof system, Cincinnati
Symphony Summer Concert Series stage roof system, Toyota Electrify Expo exhibits and
development of the Pointman Electric Chain hoist. Elmer has been an active member of the
ESTA Technical Standards Program - Rigging Working Group since 2007 and is currently leading
the effort to update two Rigging standards. Elmer is currently based in Atlanta, Georgia.
