About me
Emric Epstein, Co-Founder and Head of R&D at VYV Corporation, Montreal, Canada B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Sciences, with a specialization in Computer Graphics, 3D Vision and Image Processing. Growing up with computers as a part of his life, Emric has always been passionate about new technologies, and curious about the way electronics can create tricks and illusions that are often interpreted as magic. With his knowledge in coding and math, his determination of pushing boundaries and his vision of contributing to the creation of what has never been done, he co-founded VYV in 2004, a Montreal (Canada)-based company that develops video display technologies to serve the purpose of art and entertainment. As the Head of R&D, he has been developing and perfectioning Photon, an all-in-one media server, and Albion, a state-of-the-art tracking system. To this day, Photon and Albion are used around the world on high-end permanent shows, touring concerts, live events, theater performances and projection mapping installations
