About me
Elynmarie Kazle is a multidisciplinary artist and management consultant. She spent her early career as a stage manager and now specializes in organizational development, fundraising and directing, her main focus being on educational and larger not-for-profit institutions. She has directed 15 plays including Gunderson’s The Revolutionists, Eric Overmyer’s On the Verge, and most recently, Four Women Talking about the Man Under the Sheet, about abolition and women’s rights. As an entertainment activist and volunteer she has chaired multiple symposia and conferences and designed signature stage management curricula for non traditional institutions such as USITT’s stage management mentoring program, and for the Southeastern Summer Theatre Institute. Stage and production management credits include new and published plays, operas and musicals developed in New York City, Greater LA, Northeast Ohio and for the international community. Past chair and current member of the board of the Stage Managers' Association, Elynmarie is a Fellow of USITT, A member of the National Theatre Conference, president of the Stage Managers' Association Foundation, and the proud mom of an Eagle Scout.
