About me
Chad Shearer is general manager at Rigging International Group. He has worked in the rope access industry for 20 years. He has experience in multiple industrial fields—working as a field technician, Level 3 supervisor, instructor, operations manager, training manager, and general manager. He also represents the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) and the Society of Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT) as an appointed assessor and evaluator.
He’s dedicated to the rope access industry, its customers, and the team he works with. Chad is a strong believer in the power of a positive thinking and positive work culture. He is proud to contribute to improved efficiency and delivery of quality services at the highest level of safety.
He strives for maintaining a balanced lifestyle by practicing yoga, mountain biking, skiing, and spending time with his family. With a passion for the outdoors, Chad shares his love of adventure by volunteering his time as a mountain bike coach for his son’s bike team.
