Alan M. Rowe is the Safety & Training Director for IATSE Local 728, Studio Lighting Technicians in Burbank, CA. He served on the ESTA Board of Directors, is the Co-Chair for the ECTP Entertainment Electrical Certifications and the ESTA Technical Standards Council, is a member of the Motion Picture/Television Industry Wide Safety Committee, and is seated on Code Making Panel 15 of the National Electrical Code (NFPA 70). Alan has a broad experience in the entertainment industry, working in theatrical, touring, and live events prior to moving into the motion picture/television industry. Alan holds degrees from the North Carolina School of the Arts (BFA) and the California Institute of the Arts (MFA).
