SPRAT Work-at-Height Certification (Day 2 of 2-Day Class)

  • Designed to parallel SPRAT’s existing rope access certification program, the work-at-height program establishes a certification with performance-based criteria to ensure a baseline minimum of skills for the use of personal fall protection systems.  RIG will provide the training and host the Evaluation session. Candidates who successfully complete the evaluation will receive a certificate issued by the SPRAT office and valid for 3 years.

ETC: Troubleshooting Basics

This session will start with defining troubleshooting both from the general perspective and more specifically how it pertains to the stage. Next, we look at the concept of Observe, Orient, Decide, and Act (OODA Loop) and how this mental exercise can better prepare you to solve problems. We will go into greater detail how to apply the definition and OODA Loop concept into solving problems on the stage. Next, we will get into some tools to help us diagnose our systems. Finally, we will create a problem and talk through how to solve it.

 This session is at the Battle Of The Busk stage on the LDI show floor and open free to all attendees.
