Vectorworks Introduction to ConnectCAD

In this ConnectCAD seminar, you will explore some of the most common workflows and utilize the latest tools and commands of the ConnectCAD Module. Designed to help you save time by designing more efficiently, this seminar will cover the fundamental knowledge needed to be successful with ConnectCAD.
Target Audience: Those seeking to use ConnectCAD to create easy-to-read schematic drawings and rack layouts in a Hybrid 2D/3D environment.
Prerequisites: Attendees must have a solid understanding of Vectorworks and be comfortable drafting in a Hybrid 2D/3D environment.

We also recommend taking the Getting Started seminar, and completing the Core Certification Course online.

Vectorworks Spotlight for Lighting Professionals
Monday December 9, 2024 2:00pm - 6:00pm PST
This half-day class will use Vectorworks Spotlight to create and manage lighting plots. It is a shorter version of Spotlight tools for Vectorworks Users, focusing on lighting designs and excluding some scenic and AV elements. Topics include inserting lights, Spotlight numbering, DMX addressing, creating Instrument Schedules, and publishing light plots.
Target Audience: Lighting designers, electricians, board operators, and lighting design educators (anyone who needs to make light plots).

Prerequisites: THIS IS NOT A BEGINNER CLASS. Attendees must have a basic understanding of Vectorworks or have attended the Vectorworks Training Introduction to Core Concepts and must know the basics of creating light plots on paper or within another CAD system.

We also recommend taking the Getting Started seminar, and completing the Core Certification Course online.
