Hands On HIVE is the
first ever US training on the Hive media engine ecosystem that is changing the way we approach the traditional media server market.
Capable of performing the tasks of media server systems 10 times it's size and cost, the Hive media engines are the ultimate in scalable, affordable media playback solutions for live entertainment and AV Installations.
The full day course introduces the components that make up a Hive media playback system and the many ways to program or control it.
- System Set-up including a detailed look at Beesync the proprietary system used to sync multiple systems on a network to work as a single larger system.
- Video mapping techniques including region mapping, grid warping, keystone and soft edge blending.
- Explore the built-in programming options and the different applications that they are aimed at.
- Learn about the multiple control protocols that can be used from external devices.
- Intro to the Camera based alignment options compatible with HIVE devices.
The course offers hands-on experience with in-person devices that access the user interface in order to configure the system in a real-world environment.
